Privacy Policy

Solvado runs the Solvado first-time buyer education website. This notice explains what information is involved when you use the guides, the free tools and the paid Buyer Pass. The data controller is Solvado. You can contact us at hello@solvado.co.uk.

Your tool numbers stay in your browser

The calculators and the Buyer Pass save your numbers in your own browser (local storage on your device). They are not sent to or stored by Solvado, so we cannot see them. They remain until you clear your browser data or use the “Clear saved data” button on your dashboard. You can also export them to a file and import them on another device yourself.

Payments

The Buyer Pass is sold through Stripe, our payment processor. When you buy, you provide your payment details and email directly to Stripe. Solvado does not receive or store your card details. We receive confirmation of your purchase and the email you used, which we use to provide the pass, send a receipt and help you restore access. Stripe processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Analytics

If website analytics are enabled, we use a privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics tool that measures aggregate page views and traffic sources. It does not use tracking cookies, does not build a profile of you and does not identify you individually.

Advertising and partner links

Where advertising or partner links are used, they are explained in the advertising and affiliate disclosure, and consent is requested for any advertising technologies that require it before they load.

Lawful bases

We process purchase information to provide the Buyer Pass you have bought (performance of a contract) and to keep records we are required to keep. We rely on legitimate interests to run and improve the website using aggregate, non-identifying analytics. Any optional marketing would use separate consent.

Your rights

You have rights over your personal data, including access, correction, erasure and objection. Because your tool data lives only in your browser, you control it directly. Cookies

Solvado does not set advertising or tracking cookies by default. Stripe may set cookies on its own checkout pages to process your payment securely. If any optional advertising technologies are introduced, consent will be requested where required.
